interiors designed around your art collection

Art as a starting point…

I am a graduate of Interior Design from the KCL School of Design, London, and West Dean College Sussex. After originally training in the arts and classical music, and then spending twenty years in retail buying and merchandising for my shops ‘Article’, together with the daily curatorial role in running our art gallery with my husband, I have a varied and multi-faceted approach to design, influences by artistic movements and cultural expression. My unique positioning within the industry is to start with a client’s art collection and interests.

My practice is client-led, from listening and responding to your lifestyle, interests and your collections of art and articles, together with taking a sympathetic approach within the architecture and period of your property, which must always have an equal volume in the conversation. Rather than ‘imposing a style’ onto your home, my skills lie in drawing out the elements of your personality and lifestyle which will make your home truly work at its best level for you.

In building real face-to-face relationships with my network of suppliers and makers, I make it easy for you to achieve the high quality results you’re looking for in furnishing and styling your home environment.
